Sunday 7th May:
The sun is setting on Bristol and Bath Residents Weekend. Thank you to everyone who came and took part and especially to all of the organisations across the two cities who opened up their doors to local residents and reinforced what fantastic cities we live in. We had behind the scenes tours, explored museums and curator-led tours of exhibitions, saw outstanding theatre and music concerts, climbed up to the Cathedral roof, sang with soul, pounded the harbour and streets with theatrical walking tours and ALL FOR FREE. What a weekend.
Friday 5th May:
Residents Weekend is here! There are so many incredible cultural events and activities to get involved with across Bristol and Bath. Thank you for registering and if you did secure a ticket for the various events across the two cities then please remember that you need to take this with you alongside proof of address (a recent household bill).
We will be releasing a few more tickets and will keep everyone informed on social media if there are any cancellations and last minute spaces during the weekend.
If you did not get hold of any of the limited tickets this year then there are always free things to do across the two cities: Spike Island, Arnolfini, Holburne Museum (collections) to name a few, so make the most of the sunny weather and explore these two cities as a tourist would!
Friday 28th April:
New events and offers are being made available to book today.
Please go to the what’s on page to see what is available.
Friday 21st April:
The first release of tickets for the Residents Weekend
We are very sorry for those of you who did not manage to get the tickets you were after but demand has been overwhelming. We are now working to make new events and offers available later this week, but please note that tickets are VERY limited and will be available on a first come, first served basis. Registration does NOT guarantee entry to any event or venue, you must have booked a ticket and terms and conditions apply to each separate offer.
Do you live in the Bristol or Bath region?
For one weekend, 5 – 7 May, we’re offering you the opportunity to explore more of these two fascinating cities and live like a tourist with the ultimate staycation.
From the Roman Baths to the Georgian House and Jane Austen to Banksy, from tradition and heritage to the unconventional and downright unusual, our two cities have so much to offer visitors from across the world.
But now it’s your turn.
